When he isn’t building the armatures and helping erect Sarah Kavage’s Water Spirit sculptures, Robert Zverina enjoys a variety of creative pursuits. He has written a novel (https://tinyurl.com/buzzinprint), produced a cinema verité video series (http://www.robZtv.com), co-founded an absurdist rock band (https://4shadows.bandcamp.com), and singlehandedly completed a feature length film under the alias Rob de Riche (http://onesacrowd.com/wp). Launched in 1997, his pioneering blog Picture of the Day (http://www.zverina.com) is the longest running website of its kind. He holds degrees in literature from Cornell University and Brooklyn College, where he was mentored by Allen Ginsberg. He lives in Seattle, loves cats, and favors Makita tools.
