Teresa Jaynes is an arts consultant specializing in new program design based in cross-sector partnerships, valuing inclusivity and equitable access. Under her leadership, Lenapehoking~Watershed: a place for water, art and culture, has developed from an idea of how the environmental education centers of the Alliance for Watershed Education could increase public awareness and stewardship of the Delaware River Watershed to the fully-fledged, multi-dimensional array of art and events represented on this website. Also a curator and artist, Jaynes creates interdisciplinary exhibitions and installations rooted in historical research. Select examples include Common Touch: The Art of the Senses in the History of the Blind for The Library Company of Philadelphia; Folk Arts and Social Change for the Philadelphia Folklore Project, and Red Maids for The Rosenbach Museum & Library. Jaynes is also a past recipient of the Pew Fellowships in the Arts.
